THE STORY: A la Fontaine de Grégoire is located just five minutes from the hospitable hustle and bustle of Chez Remise, an indispensable hotel-restaurant-bar-tabac-newsstand well known by all the local trout fishermen. The couple in charge, Isabelle and Fred, have transformed this former school into smart little spot, perfect for lazy daydreaming while gazing at the patterns of the Persian rugs. The rooms are immense, so try not to get lost. Rooms €160.

TOILETRIES: Body wash, shampoo.
INTERNET: Wifi (free).
BREAKFAST: Included – with coffee or tea, fruit juice, homemade jam, viennoiseries, fougasse (local brioche), fresh bread, cheese and ham upon request.
LITTLE LUXURY: The attic room with a video projector, games, billiards, and… in spring 2018, a pool in the yard!
