Tiki Lounge

When a former employee at the exciting Planet Mars (rue de la Folie-Méricourt) teams up with a former employee of Born Bad, the garage rock record store, you get Tiki Lounge. Where the Polynesian kitsch reigns supreme (wicker and bamboo are omnipresent, Hawaiian shirts, moon-fish lamps…), with sixties lounge music playing in the background, while the Caribbean flows in the glasses… In total, a dozen cocktails made with rum and one must-try, the Mai Tai (white and dark rum, orgeat syrup and orange, €10). Also worth noting, the beautiful selection of alcohol-free cocktails like the Nada Colada made with coconut milk and pineapple (€7). // A.B.
