A cascade of ivy, a marble facade, rough brick walls, a leather bench and dim lighting —L’Entrée des Artistes Pigalle really knows how to set the mood! Spread out over two floors and as many bars, Edouard Vermynck and Olivier Demarle distinguish themselves from other small, neighboring cocktail bars thanks to their festive ambiance and the dirty dancing with DJ sets on the weekends. Our recommendation for kicking off the festivities? A fresh Chicharito (tequila, lime, cucumber, chili-infused agave syrup). And to wrap them up? Why not a Medicine Show, made with rum, chocolate, cream, lemon and peanut syrup (€13)? With, in between all that, the possibility of sharing small plates: crafty shiitake mushroom dumplings in a tangy tamarind broth (€10); bonito tartare with blackberries and beets, intensified by mustard greens (€11); an airy Paris-Brest pastry….
