With its cute name, bubble lamps and sidewalk terrace underneath a pink awning, Bisou is always there for you to cuddle up with. There’s no cocktail menu but behind the marble bar, Nicolas, the bartender, is all ears and will craft you something unique depending on what you’re in the mood for (€12 with alcohol, €7 without). The night we went, our thirst for bitterness led to a sparkling variation on the Negroni (gin, rhubarb bitters, Apérol, Prosecco), before the word “Armagnac” inspired this former Bespoke bartender (both bars are owned by the same person) to shake up a full-bodied combo of Armagnac + walnut wine + absinthe + sherry. It’s worth noting that the small plates are written out on a little menu of their own: eggplant tapenade (€7), hummus (€7), etc. // A.B.
